Powered arm brace and optional muscle stimulation for arm weakness due to any cause (stroke, spinal cord injury, ALS, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy).

The goal of this study is to evaluate if non-invasive electrical spinal stimulation can help people with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury improve strength and function of their arms, legs, hands, and/or feet.

The Center is implementing VNS therapy as the first FDA‐approved device for patients with chronic moderate to severe upper limb deficits from stroke.  This comprehensive service is now available at Jefferson.
